There are 19 students in Ms. Kelly and Mr. Tonra’s fourth class this year. Mr. Cunningham is our SET teacher who supports and helps us everyday. In fourth class we build on what we learned in third class and take on exciting new challenges every day. Each week fourth class focuses on literacy, numeracy, Irish and exploring the wonders of science, geography and history. We also practice teamwork and creativity through art, music, drama and SPHE. There is an emphasis on developing critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities. On Mondays we have ukulele lessons with Jamie from Music Generation Mayo. On Tuesdays and Fridays we have P.E and we wear our tracksuit to school on those days. We use the iPADs and Chrome Books to explore the Digital Curriculum and have really enjoyed exploring coding. Every day is an adventure in learning — and we can’t wait to see what we’ll discover next!
